is there a separate igniter for the broiler and the oven?
Hello, i am inquiring about my Samsung Nat Gas Over, that’s works but we smell Gas when first turn on, could this be the heating Element going bad?
So my issue is I turn to bake and it won’t get hot but you turn to broil and it come right on….now the broiler part isn’t working either …I think I have 2 different problems help!

Whirlpool, they suck. The way mine is designed the ignition cords are exposed resulting in premature wear. This oven is 2 years old and driving us insane.
Yes I have a Frigidaire range and the oven or broiler will not light . I have changed the electric igniter and still nothing . I saw where they was talking about a switch on the regulator when I call it does any one have a picture to show the on and off switch way it on and off .

Hi, I hope you can help me with my issue. My not so old but cheap and simple range Amana all the time ignites oven to some 100 degrees and shuts it off while gas handle is completely off. Non stop. What can I do, beside replacing this range. Thanks!!!
Lets ask: the botton oven ignitor is glowing, but fails to get the gas to flame over 18th an ich of flame. so can I swap the broilers ignitor to the bottom and if the broiler fails the ignitor is to blame. turkey day, used the BBQ so tomorrow on shopping day I wonder if a sale is on this part, NOT

What would cause an oven to work intermittently based on ambient temperature? Started having trouble in the summer. Worked all winter and started not heating up all of the way again this summer. Sometimes gets to 160f, sometime only 125f

ok. Mine is starting to have problems. it works than it don’t work. The ignighter is glowing. I played with the temp moved it up and than back. Than all of a sudden it worked. This is twice now. It is a digital kenmore. What do you think.

Could it be that the oven wire has caulk around 2-3 inches of it is the reason why the surface light is on and then blinks off temporarily after using. I did notice a lighter fluid or gaseous smell. What could be the reason for the smell and why does the surface light stay lit most of the time except after I turn oven on?

My Kenmore gas oven made a click then popped the breaker. After that it won’t heat up. I changed out the igniter but the new igniter won’t light either. Broiler and range top still work. Any thoughts?

Mine wont even turn on , when I hit the broil or bake button , the lights on the switchboard wont even turn on. I to8ght it was a faulty switchboard and replaced it but still no luck 😭😭😭

Just light all the burners and crank up the oven. Give it a minute or two. Should work, if it’s not wiring issue.

My Kenmore elite model 790.3103 takes time to heat up and sometimes turns off with a error sound. I also hear a load thump when it turns on?

My problem on my kenmore oven ended up being the valve that went bad. Dad saw this video and said it really helped him figure out troubleshooting the problem and also looked at the schematic that he found in a pouch behind the oven. It wasn’t as readily apparent right away that it was the valve because the broiler side of the valve still worked but the oven side did not. And we ruled out everything else (and all dysfunctional roads lead back to the valve when all the wires worked and whatnot). We replaced it and the oven works great now.
My oven does not use electricity… video didn’t address this…..😕

My oven control face does a odd flash of number 1, then acts like its normal and pre heating, but nothing is happening. The flash of number 1 doesn’t seem to be an error code as the number is lit on the first left digit on the display and not like the other error codes I have seen before. If it wasn’t for that odd flash I would be happy to look into the heating element.. it started with error code power failer for a year or so, just reset the oven and it worked, then the oven would just not heat up sometimes, but would seem normal and can hear the click of the relay, just had to turn it off and back on to work. But now idk, with the odd flash 1 happening has me a tad worried the board might be doing something odd, especially since its shown power failure on and off for no reason. I guess I’m going to find out.
I have a GE Gas Oven Model JGBS66DEK3WW. Only 3.5 years old. Oven wasn’t heating up. I unplugged power but didn’t shut off gas(should have for safety) I changed the igniter. Took 2 hours only because I couldn’t get the two screws that held the igniter. Unfortunately when I turned on the oven, the igniter lite up, but no gas came through. This model doesn’t have a utube to show how to light the pilot light. And that may not be the problem. I also read that you have to get the clock working. I did. The oven light, I would assume, should come on when I open the door, It doesn’t. The light will go on when I push the light switch. But I don’t want to have the light on all the time. Any suggestions why the pilot lite wont come on. There repair men are book way out around here. And if they were to come out it would cost almost the price of another stove. Soooo I am willing to try and fix. I hope you can help – — without me blowing up my home. Thank you!
