  1. I hate these machines, going back to top loader.

  2. Thank you for sharing, very useful!. This is a very valuable video to me, thanks again!

  3. @transcendent0702 March 14, 2025 at 10:00 am

7:13 what about this little hole seems clogged? I have always some water there…how can i fix this?

  4. Currently using bleach and then running the tub cycle (based off a video i watched before this one) Would I also use about 2 cups of bleach? I definitely didnt. I only filled the bleach compartment up to the fill line

  5. Amazing !! I am at my daughter’s house and was wondering how to clean her washer. I am so happy I found you.!❤

  6. I don’t get why they make these things so hard to clean. I think the rubber rim should be easy to take off and attach

  7. @bidhyagurung6944 March 14, 2025 at 10:02 am

    How sweet of you❤❤❤

I have a lg front loader my problem after I clean all that needs clean the rubber gasket on the door has a little drain holes it always seem to be plugged how do I drain the standing water

  9. @Shootinforthestars1 March 14, 2025 at 10:04 am

Have tried this and works great! Drains the water out well. But the water that comes out has a rotten egg smell. About every2 -3 weeks need to drain water from the drain hose it seems . Any idea why there is a rotten egg smell? Could it be the rubber on the inside that needs a cleaning??

  10. Super useful! Thanks!!

  11. I was floored when I saw how bad these front loaders get. I’ve gotten into the habit of wiping down and drying the gasket with a microfiber towel after the final load, and always making sure to leave the door open after. So far it has been insanely bettter and has never looked like the one did at the beginning of the video again.

  12. I noticed there was a “Tub Clean” selection for the machine you were cleaning. I use that setting on my front loader with the cleaning tabs you used, about once a month. It takes about two hours to run a cycle and it comes out so clean, with very little need for toothbrush scrubbing. I think using that setting makes for less manual labor afterward😉

  13. I discovered that they make a special toothbrush for dentures. It has a larger head and stiffer brushes than a regular toothbrush. It also has 1/2-inch long brushes on the end of the toothbrush which is great for getting into tight places. I keep one in the kitchen, the laundry room, and both bathrooms.

  14. That’s all very helpful for a dude who only knows how to use the on/off button … but really we need a woman wearing transparent clothing doing the cleaning demonstration instead.

  15. I use my wet/dry vac to suck the water out of my front load washer and it works great.

  16. Front Trap Door/Filter: our access is at the very BACK of the machine, unaccessible – so we took a metal saw and cut a small hole in the front, and made our own trap door!

  17. @saltyolbroad2962 March 14, 2025 at 10:13 am

    I’ll stick with a top loader! 😂

  18. Thank you for this video I am newly to this kind of washer.

  19. Do you have a front load dryer vid? Do they need to be cleaned…?

  20. Everyone needs to shake this ‘throw away’ society that’s been created and take Brandon’s advice to look after your things, they will last longer and save you money…. I look after everything I own no matter what it is, clothes, home, jewellery, appliances, husband! 😂 I’m sure a lot of marriages would last longer if everyone cared for each other a bit more! 😂 …. Thanks for all your great tips and advice Brandon x❤x

  21. How do I clean the tube that the detergent goes down to get to the drum? Everything else is clean but can’t get that clean with normal methods

  22. @jasoncrawford1489 March 14, 2025 at 10:19 am

Your drain hose is clogged. A lot more water should come out when you remove the plug. No water should come out when you twist out the filter.

  23. @alsaceramenaden6607 March 14, 2025 at 10:20 am

I came across this video today. Thank you for the excellent info. Just cleaned my washer, which was not cleaned in months. Actually, I was not aware of the monthly maintenance. Will do from now. 👍

  24. Hi! If the water doesn’t come out of the little tube, but comes pouring out the main filter does that mean there’s a clog?

  25. @anabellabella2266 March 14, 2025 at 10:22 am

    thank you!!!!!

  26. I would never buy a front loader, if I realized it’s so high maintenance! Top loaders just wash your clothes and don’t need all the attention on a monthly basis. Ouch

  27. ❤❤❤❤

  28. I had no idea how dirty they can get. I’m terrified to look at mine.

  29. Very helpful 😊

  30. That poor washing machine 😮….. great job bringing it back to clean life Brandon! ….. after every wash, I take out the detergent drawer, wash and leave out to dry completely, the same inside the compartment it comes out of, I wipe down and dry as best as I can the rubber seal and glass door and about every 5 or 6 washes I do exactly as Brandon did with the filter. My machine alerts me every 40 washes to do a drum clean…. I always leave the door ajar as Brandon rightly suggests, plus the drawer out 1-2 cms when not in use so the air can circulate …… my machine is always immaculate I’m proud to say!……. apart from the filter and drum clean, by doing the others every time it takes only 10 minutes, my machine at 3+ years old and looks like brand new, my tumble dryer and dishwasher are the same age and all are like new……. Thanks for all your great tips Brandon x❤x

  32. Excellent tutorial. Keep up the good work

  33. Nauseating! 🤮

  34. very useful information passed in a very didactic and easy to understand manner! thank you! 🙏🏻

  35. @Backwoodsgardener March 14, 2025 at 10:32 am

WOW!! Can you come to my house?

  36. @3:00 I’ve a tip for you bigballs- slide a baking tray in under the machine to catch the water.

  37. @alisonhendry2928 March 14, 2025 at 10:33 am

Sadly I can’t get that black lid off the filter to clean it. Too afraid to break it as Bosch no longer sells these machines in the USA. Bleach, vinegar cleaners etc still don’t get that horrid smell that builds up between washes. Guess it’s time for new washer… but I will do all of the things you suggest here too! Thank you! ❤

  38. Wrong, clean it the way the manufacturer recommends it. Mine doesn’t recommend vinegar or third party cleaners, I recommends bleach in their manual.

    I quote their web site:

"How do you use vinegar in a washing machine?

It is not recommended to use vinegar in your washing machine. Because of its acidic nature, vinegar can corrode some parts of your washing machine over time, especially rubber elements."

I rather listen to the manufacturer than someone on Youtube.

  39. Why do none of these cleaning videos address the one spot that is always the problem and seems impossible to get to? That spot between the gasket and the metal drum. I’ve been able to clean all these other spots just from common sense – but that one spot (called a coin catch I think? ) seems like it can only be cleaned by removing the gasket, which I’m afraid to do and never get it back on!

  40. Hi! If the water doesn’t come out of the little tube, but comes pouring out the main filter does that mean there’s a clog?

  41. Just a few minutes out your day cleaning and caring for your appliances will help to keep them going just that bit longer and ultimately save you some cash…… thanks Brandon x❤x

  42. ❤thank you…

  43. This was really helpful. Thanks! You explain things very simple too (:

  44. @Inmemoryofsebastian March 14, 2025 at 10:44 am

Wow that machine is dirty, every time I do laundry usually every week I drain the hose afterward, now with the filter what I don’t understand for the past 10 year I never had any junk in it not even cat hair and I have 7 cats so where is that cat hair going…I never even find lint in the filter, my machine does have a mildew odor and really nothing works to get the smell out, not the tablets, vinegar or bleach…thanks for the video

  45. Thank you 😍😍

  46. I’ve had mine for about 2yesrs. After wathing your video, I checked it out. The stain and mould has started to build up in the detergent drawer. I feel good after cleaning with vinegar 😊

  47. What if there is alot of actual mold? Is there anything you can do about that?

  48. Dude, what are you washing in that thing? That’s like decades worth of buildup.

  49. If you have mould I would advise wearing gloves and a face mask as mould gives off spores and goes airborne and onto your clothes and will cause irritated skin rashes burning skin breathing problems even bleading lungs if breath enough of it in

  50. I just cleaned mine and didn’t even think about the trey! Great stuff, thank you!
