You didn’t mention the 10% fees plus cost of shipping you have to pay after selling parts on eBay. These parts are also untested which makes the chance of return much higher. Not to mention that the average person will not be able to tell the difference between genuine OEM and an aftermarket part which is a deal breaker. I would not recommend doing this unless you are very knowledgeable about cars and online sales. There is huge money to be made at salvage yards but you need serious skills in order to do so

  3. Appreciated man, and most of them are small to handle , unlike a transmission or door

So great video.the only problem I had was if people dont preform testing on the switches. They are potentially screwing others over.

  10. Thanks in million. Great content.

  11. The three trim panels you removed to access that radio & climate controls are worth more than those two parts. And you don’t need to worry about them not working.
    Just saying.

  12. How do you collect your money on E bay that’s what I don’t understand?

What I absolutely hate is when my poor self goes to a junkyard to get something like this for cheap and someone else that doesn’t even have my car grabs it just to make money. I hate it

I have two question for you do you pay taxes on the money you make on eBay and do you need some kind of a license from the city to sell parts on eBay?

  19. Where is the best location to sell my working alternator, starter or other engine accessories? I’ve been told that the chain parts stores will buy accessories, true or?

  20. AWESOME VIDEO – THANK YOU SO MUCH
Looking to part out my 03 expedition, any pointers on what (aside from these) would be the best/fastest selling parts for me to pull would be HUGELY APPRECIATED

my local junk yard charges $60+ for a single headlight when aftermarket is $60 for a brand new pair

  22. @therealwill_i_amsonofrobin4330 March 14, 2025 at 10:23 am

Tip on how to take tires off without power tool if the car is off the ground

  23. So many junk yards are selling parts higher because they know that they can get more on eBay, or that some YouTuber has people flipping their parts

  24. I’ve been doing this and sold 72k

  25. As an eBay used parts seller, I appreciate your video but I can tell you some of the parts you recommend are really a waste of time for instance tail lights. I’ve sold plenty of them but I’ve stopped because there are too many sellers out there who don’t have the mechanical expertise to remove anything more complicated than a tail light. The result is the market is flooded with them therefore the price has to go down for example BMW tail lights. You’ll have to remove it, clean it, photograph it, put together an ad for it including figuring out which cars it’s compatible with, and you’ll have to pack it and ship it. You’ll pay about $24 for it including tax, another $11 to ship it, plus $4 to eBay for selling fees so you’ll need to sell it for $39 just to break even. If you want to get paid for the work you’ve done, you’ll need to sell it for at least $60. The problem is, you’ll find E46 tail lights for sale on eBay for $35, shipping included. Great deal for the buyer. Terrible for the seller. Moral of the story? Sell parts that are difficult to remove, not easy. That way, the market you’re in will be void of low price parts picked by amateurs.

How long does it take for something to sell though? Months? Years?

  27. Ebay sucks

  28. Can u just make it easy n write the parts in ur description? Please…

  29. Very good video

  30. @vittoriovuocolo2438 March 14, 2025 at 10:29 am

New Chinese parts are cheaper on eBay. why should I waste my time at pull a part.?

  31. How are you supposed to make money with the headlight and taillight pricing at about $32 ? With shipping they’re probably gonna cost around $50. How much are we supposed to sell it for to make some money ?

  32. most of those things are horrible to sell. Buy a tail light sell a tail light for $50 on ebay. $5 for ebay commission, $1 paypal fees, $12-20 shipping, 30 for the part after taxes, gas, what not, not to mention packing materials. If someone decides to return you pretty much have to pay return shipping and you lost money same thing with headlights.

  33. Lol so this is why every item listed has been a part stolen from a car I’ve owned. Thank you for clearing this up.

  34. Ou the eclipse in the background 🥲😻

  35. Hey, hmu snapchat if you need sum loud smoke and purple drank, 👻snapchat: legitplg2020

  36. PULL A PART SYCKS

  37. This video is made not to help you, but for the pull a part to make money out of you…. They charge for entrance, charge for parts that were not tested and these days cheaper or same price on ebay . Before item sells, their warranty is expired. Most parts take months-years to sell …

  38. @Lendingwithjoseph March 14, 2025 at 10:43 am

    One word: CHINA

  39. What about the shipping any advice for it?

  40. Lots of parting out videos. But yours gave me the info i needed.
    Thanks

  41. @passivesolarhousingcoop1903 March 14, 2025 at 10:45 am

    Outstanding job!

  42. How do you quickly find out what other cars use the same part?

  43. lol your pull-a-part still has the alloy wheels on the cars! not around here bub! those are already pulled before they are set in the yard

  44. So you’re the reason i can’t find parts at wrecking yards art decent prices

people like you is why it is often hard to find parts at the pull a part junkyard…

  47. @therealwill_i_amsonofrobin4330 March 14, 2025 at 10:50 am

    .

  48. Ebays fees are too high shipping is to expensive and junkyard fees often exceed new chinese parts. I have to sell my parts at 3 to 4 times price paid just to make a profit.
